Unusual for the time, Hogarth made many of his own prints. Learn more about printing and the processes that went into making the prints you see on display in the House. Each workshop will cover Hogarth as a printmaker, the embossing and debossing technique and a hands-on opportunity to make print your own uniquely designed plate.
Blind embossing and debossing involves no ink, but is no less stunning! Using shapes and lines, each participant can create and take home their own unique plate and print.
No previous printmaking experience needed.
