Hand print your own Christmas card using the linocut printmaking technique with artist Sangeeta Weatherley
Join local artist Sangeeta Weatherley in a creative Christmas card making workshop where we will be trying Linocut Printmaking. In this relief printmaking process, you will be guided in the process of carving your design into a soft lino sheet using carving tools. You will then proceed to the fun part of rolling ink onto the surface and printing it on a blank greeting card. You may stick with traditional black and white or switch up the colours! We will provide envelopes, so your card is ready to be sent off! Suitable for all artistic abilities.
Sangeeta Weatherley is a self-taught artist with a background in IT looking for opportunities to spread the joy of colours through her vibrant paintings. She undertakes commissions and runs ‘Art Social/Art For Well Being’ workshops which have proven to help people destress and connect with their inner creative in a friendly and relaxing environment. She has a strong passion for working with people and can lead diverse age groups and abilities.
