Printmaking was an important part of Hogarth’s artistic practice. But what is printmaking? Where does it originate from and what is printmaking like today? This fun talk by printmaking technician Richard Roberts, will do a broad sweep of printmaking through the ages, looking at amongst other things prehistoric handprints, Japanese fish rubbings and, of course, Hogarth’s prints and his legacy on printmaking today. This talk will be great for anyone who wants to know more about printmaking.

Richard Roberts is a Printmaker and Specialist Printing Technician at the London College of Communication.
